"The Dove of Peace Project was completed in the city of Edmonton in the fall of nineteen hundred and eighty-eight. The original Dove structure was designed and constructed four years earlier in honour of Pope John Paul II's visit to Alberta. Beneath this plaque is buried a time capsule, with the intent that it be opened in the year of the 200th anniversary of the Edmonton Catholic School District, 2088."
